On August 17th The Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse Club is hosting our annual Gala. This year it will be virtual and we wanted to invite you to join us. 

The purpose of the Gala is to raise money for The Crescents Fund. The Fund has allowed us to stay to true our mission of ‘Never turning away a player from the Creator’s Game for financial reasons’.  

Here is a bit of info on our program:

  • We are the largest and oldest Youth and Club Lacrosse program in Brooklyn. We have been empowering  our community since 2006
  • Of our 300+ players, approximately 40% receive some sort of aid from The Fund
  • The Crescents Fund disperses approximately $60K per year to our families in the form of waived fees, equipment, uniforms and more
  • We are proud to be arguably the most diverse youth and Club programs in lacrosse – race, ethnicity, gender and gender identity, socioeconomic status

As we continue our mission to grow the game and bring true diversity to the sport, the Crescents Fund is one of the hammers we wield.  We hope you can help us with our mission during this challenging and inspiring time.
